one financial emergency is often all it takes for a family to be at risk for homelessness, but one donation can make all the difference. when you partner with hope+door you step in and fill the gap for a family in crisis.
your gift makes the difference
every time you contribute to hope+door you help carry a family through crisis.
average rent in the united states is about $1,500 per month. a financial emergency that leads to a family missing two months of rent, or about $3,000, will usually lead to their landlord pursuing eviction.
our goal is to get families current on their rent, enabling them to focus on priorities like managing their finances, school, finding childcare, and finding new jobs when necessary, all while remaining in their homes.
every $3,000 in gifts makes this vision a reality for one family who was on the verge of homelessness.
thank you for helping families avoid homelessness.
